The Boring Climate Podcast
Ever Wonder Why Climate Science Feels… Boring?
It’s not. And our podcast proves it.
Everything we read about the climate tends to be depressing or boring. But, it is the most urgent crisis of our time, and learning about it is important. That’s what motivated our founders to launch The Boring Climate Podcast — climate science deserves more platforms, Indian scientists deserve a bigger stage. Over two seasons, we’ve been diving deep with some incredible minds:

Season 1 brought us face-to-face with:
- The enigmatic Indian monsoon with Dr. Madhavan Nair Rajeevan
- Tiger conservation and wildlife ecology
- Climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable farming practices
- Urban ecology and smart cities
- CO₂ conversion technologies
- Water management for sustainable communities
In Season 2, which we’ve just launched, we speak to:
- Dr. Divya Karnad on why your fish curry connects to ocean health and climate change
- Dr. Richard Peltier breaking down aerosols and air pollution
- Dr Tarsh Thekaekara on invasive species, ancient carbon capture techniques and an elephant called Padayappa.
…and many others
Why This Matters
When our founders envisioned this podcast, they saw a gap—Indian scientists doing groundbreaking work weren’t getting the platform they deserved. The podcast was designed to change that narrative, highlighting the research happening right here in India’s labs, fields, and forests.
Every episode shows how climate science intersects with real life.
